The MP series machine protection system is designed for critical machines such as turbines, and trip output can be used for urgent stopping of the turbine to protect it from damage caused by overspeed rotation or abnormal shaft thrust position. Unit which outputs zero-speed signal is also available (MP-1 only). The MP-2S overspeed unit is designed in accordance with API 670 4th edition.
